I live with Mr. Radish on Puget Sound in Washington.  My five main passions are family, creative what ever, Food, Politics, and my Spiritual life.  Spelling and punctuation are poor at best.  I write about what I need to write that day, or what I have found.  I do not have my photo here, but you will see me now and then when I have a proper photo.  

People ask me about the name of my blog and the radishes part.  I used radishes because they are visual attractive , round and red. And when old they are old a  little caustic and biting.   Sometimes that is me.

 I am hoping for a cookie exactly like this.  Today is mammagram day.  For a woman whose mother died of breast cancer, you would think I would remember to go get one. but it has been two years.  To all women out there, check your mammagram date,

I am stopping for one of these cookies on the way home.  

P.S.  Women in Germany do not have much breast cancer.  They eat a lot of cabbage.  I do eat pretty much, not like the Germans.

Good for you - getting your mamo that is. You deserve a cookie for sure when it is all over. I once was in a local store and this delightful, considerably aged, woman asked me where the chocolates were. I guided her there and she told me she always rewards herself with chocolate after a doctors appointment. Good wisdom in my opinion.
